Tersys is an open-source webgis: a Geographical Information System that can be consulted and edited wherever users are, by means of Internet.
Landlab designed and realized Tersys both for public administrations and private subjects that have do plan and manage complex land systems, such as green areas, urban parks, complex irrigation systems and basins, cooperative vineyards and so on
With Tersys land managers can:
- Optimize physical, environmental, economic and human resources involved in the green areas management, leading to money, water, nutrition, time savings, by means of an accurate knowledge of the natural system and the development of its potential.
- Maintain and increase the quality of the green areas (biodiversity, soil conservation, beauty...)
- Provide tools to support decisions both on practical issues and on long term planning
- Work in network with all the subjects involved in the management of the area, avoiding bottlenecks and letting everyone check the state of the land management.
